Safety...The Pathway to Our Goals

At AGES, we meet project deadlines, ensure client satisfaction and retain profitability by adhering to a core set of values. These values include such ideas as integrity, accountability, diligence, perseverance and discipline. Our core values are our fundamental beliefs and guiding principles that allow us to make sound business decisions. At the same time, we understand that working fast is not always working smart; and, not working smart often leads to a preventable incident. Therefore, we believe that, when workers put themselves in a position to suffer a job site injury, the core values are meaningless. As a result, we determine our path to reaching our goals through our most important core value: safety.

Safety...Through Personal Responsibility

The safety program at AGES is the lifeblood of our company and the foundation of our core values. As a small business, any incident is critical to our continuity. Consequently, we believe in a culture of safety; and, we make safe work practices our business. Unlike larger firms, it is often far more challenging for small businesses to devote adequate time and resources to an effective safety program. Yet, as a small business, we are not only able to survive in this industry, but thrive, using a proactive approach to safety. At AGES, we believe our success is based on working safely through personal responsibility, analysis of leading indicators, continuous training and teamwork.

Safety...First And Foremost

At AGES, we focus on preparation, alertness and situational awareness to stay safe on the job site. While money is helpful to maintaining a good safety program, we believe that being safe on the job site, simply, requires doing the right thing at the right time for the right reason. Therefore, big or small, we believe that any company can thrive if they hold the right core values for success; and, these core values should always begin with safety, first and foremost.

Safety...It Permeates Everything We Do

While it may seem like safety is a core value for every person in every organization, OSHA’s annual safety statistics indicate otherwise. At AGES, the word “safety” means more than just a set of rules that must be followed. It is the belief that safety permeates everything we do; it defines who we are as a company. With safety as the foundation of our core values, we believe our building block core values (integrity, accountability, diligence, perseverance and discipline) can be achieved and our company goals can be met. And, by keeping our staff and others free from injuries, we can maintain an organizational structure that meets project deadlines, ensures client satisfaction and retains profitability.
